What is Sugar ?

Let me  be clear and say sugar is essential to all life.  Anything that lives needs sugar to keep it fueled and energized  ready to live. The body must have carbonhydrates  which are forms of sugar to give you enough energy to live.

Sugar is produced by plants through photosynthesis. It is at this actual stage that sugar is created the chlorophyll  in the plants added with carbon dioxide and water is how we get sugar.

There are other types of plants like beets that have more sugar in them which is why it's better to extract sugar from them. All plants have sugar.

Remember the plants covert the sunlight into sugar and our bodies turn the sugar in fuel.

This is just the beginning of our Sugar obsession we observe many classes of sugar and the 61 different types of sugar there is and how unique each is !
